On Friday I begin my new job with
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, continuing the long family tradition of careers in the field of education.
- My grandfather was a New York City public school teacher for 15 years, and then a Principal for 20 years.
- My mother was a teacher for 16 years, primarily for New York City public schools.
- My sister has taught at Georgetown University, after earning her PhD from Yale. (She still works at Georgetown but isn't currently teaching.)
Okay, so my job will be in television and not as a teacher, but it's still in the education field none the less. ;-)
