Maegan couldn't go to day care today because of the Dale Earnhardt memorial service. Maegan's daycare is in the same building as the memorial and it was not worth the effort to get through the security checks. Traffic was also bad because they shut down the main road here.

It's almost softball time! Two 1/2 hours of standing in line got me Wednesday nights at Nevin Field. Our season begins the week of March 25th.

Tom and I solved the riddle of the Seventh Street Station. Well almost. The Seventh Street Station is a nine story parking garage that has dozens of 28-foot high panels that light up and play music if you touch them. Some call it the musical parking garage. Legend goes that if you solve the riddle correctly, the entire building will light up at once and play music to celebrate the achievement. Here's the riddle...

We didn't get the building to light up yet, but we'll try again. We're pretty sure we cracked the code, but we're not positive about where to start the sequence from (you've got to solve it for yourself).

Yesterday was very busy. First thing in the morning, Patty went in for oral surgery to have all four of her wisdom teeth extracted. The surgery took only 20 minutes, but the medication stayed with Patty for most of the day. Everything went fine and Patty is just a bit sore.

In the evening I went to the Charlotte Ad Club awards presentation. I won an Addy Award in the category of Television: Self-Promotion: Campaign. This was the first award for my newest Andy Griffith promos, entitled "Mayberry Mysteries". I promise I will eventually finish the video portion of this website so you can see one of these promos.

I got my tickets to the White Sox / Expos game on March 31st. I finally got through and got some upper deck tickets, but that's okay since there aren't any bad seats at Knights Castle.
