Death of the Jackalopes

I had no choice but to decide not register my softball team for the fall season. With just a few weeks before sign-ups, I lost four of my players. I'll try to start up the team again for the spring season. In the mean time I'll try to join another team just for this fall.

Almost Champions

My softball team won their second playoff game 19-5 to advance to the Championship Game. This is a team that lost 70% of our regular season games, but in the playoffs we've outscored out opponents by an average of 16Â½ runs per game!

We ended up losing the championship game but got a huge trophy for runner-up. Plus we now qualify for the county-wide "Tournament Of Champions."

Go Jackalopes!

My softball team ended the season with a disappointing 3-7 record, but things finally came together in the first round of the playoffs. Not only did we hit well, but our defense was outstanding! We won 19 to 0! The semi-finals (and championship) are in two weeks.

The Natural

Our softball game last night was canceled due to exploding light system. We were winning 2-0 in the third inning (out of seven) when all the lights in the park went out. Then came a fizzle... and a loud boom! Somebody doesn't want us to win.
